Erica Waasdorp Scholarship Fund

The Erica Waasdorp Scholarship Fund was established in 2024 to provide scholarships to cover educational event registration costs for nonprofit fundraisers.

As a fundraiser and fundraising consultant, Erica Waasdorp has been especially passionate about direct mail and recurring giving/sustainers for her whole career.

Always an advocate for the work of DMAW, Erica has a lifetime of contributing educational content and training for nonprofit professionals, including many sustainer workshops ahead of and during the Bridge Conference. Erica continues to this day, teaching direct mail and recurring giving webinars and workshops virtually.

A lifelong learner herself, she established The Erica Waasdorp Scholarship Fund to help mentor and educate the future generation of direct response fundraisers. The fund provides scholarships to help pay the registration fees for educational events for nonprofit fundraisers.

Scholarship Requirements
The Erica Waasdorp Scholarship Fund is available to all nonprofit professionals interested in attending a DMAW educational event. Both members and nonmembers are welcome to apply for scholarship access to events.

Note: Nonmembers of DMAW may be awarded on a one-time basis and must become DMAW members for future eligibility.
